Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or an equivalent examination are eligible. This includes students who have passed compartment exams or are appearing for the SSC 2026 exams. The examination is recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana.

Exam Details and Admissions
TS POLYCET 2026 is conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format. The exam serves as the admission gateway for various diploma courses in government and private polytechnic institutes across Telangana. It also facilitates admissions to agricultural diploma courses offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU).
Additionally, the exam is used for admission to Horticultural Diploma courses at Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University (SKLTGHU) and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Courses at PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU).
