The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 response sheet. This sheet allows candidates to review their answers from the computer-based examination. The download link is now active on the official JEE Main website.

Candidates can access the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Response Sheet by logging into the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in . Required credentials include the candidate’s Application Number and either their Password or Date of Birth.
The NTA has also released the provisional answer key for Session 1. Candidates can use their response sheet and the provisional answer key to estimate their scores. The marking scheme awards +4 marks for correct answers and -1 for incorrect ones.
Objections to the provisional answer key can be submitted until February 5, 2026 . Instructions for downloading the response sheet and raising objections are available on the website.
Key Features of Response Sheet
The JEE Main Response Sheet provides a detailed record of each question. It includes the Question ID and the candidate’s selected Option ID. The status of each question (Answered, Unanswered, or Marked for Review) is also displayed.
This document ensures transparency by showing the answers recorded by the examination system. Candidates can compare their submitted answers with the official key to calculate their potential raw scores before the official results are announced.
