The registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) is today, February 4 . The National Testing Agency (NTA) is accepting applications on its official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The payment window for the registration fee will close on February 7.
CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule Announced
The CUET UG 2026 computer-based test (CBT) is scheduled to take place from May 11 to May 31 . Examinations will be held at centers across India and in 15 international cities.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination are eligible. Those currently appearing for their board exams in 2026 can also apply. There is no age limit for CUET UG 2026 applicants.
Registration Fees and Structure
The application fee varies by category and the number of subjects chosen. An additional fee applies for examination centers outside India.

Post-Registration Process
Following the closure of registrations, the NTA will open a correction window for the CUET UG forms. This window will be available from February 9 to February 11 . Candidates can use this period to edit details in their submitted applications.
Advisory for Aadhaar and UDID Updation
NTA previously advised candidates to update their Aadhaar and UDID card details before registration. This is to ensure accurate retrieval of personal information like date of birth, gender, and address. Parents’ or guardians’ names, not present on Aadhaar, must be entered separately in the application form.
Exam Purpose
The CUET UG 2026 exam is conducted for admissions to bachelor’s programs in 48 central universities and other participating institutions nationwide. The initial registration deadline was previously extended from January 30 to February 4.
