The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for document verification for the Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling process. Candidates now have until January 31 to submit their original documents for the third round.
Round 3 Document Verification Extended
This extension applies to candidates who registered for Karnataka NEET PG counselling between January 18 and January 26, 2025. These applicants must complete their document verification and submission by the new deadline of January 31, 2025.
New Schedule for Choice Filling
Following the document verification, the choice filling window for the third round will open. Candidates can select their preferred courses and colleges starting February 2, 2025, at 1 PM . The deadline for this choice filling is February 5, 2025 .
The KEA announced the revised schedule to accommodate applicants needing more time for document submission.
Eligibility for Round 3
Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 2 and have already joined their respective colleges by paying the admission fee are eligible to participate in Round 3 for seat upgradation.
Additionally, candidates who newly registered with KEA and completed their document verification as per the January 17, 2025, notification can also take part in the Round 3 seat allotment.
Ineligibility Criteria
Certain candidates are barred from participating in Round 3. These include those who have joined postgraduate medical colleges, including deemed universities, through the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling after Round 1 or Round 2.
Candidates allotted seats in the AIQ mop-up round are also ineligible. Furthermore, individuals who cancelled their seats after Round 1, failed to pay the fee, or cancelled their seats after provisional or final allocation in Round 2 cannot participate in KEA NEET PG Round 3.
