Application Correction Guidelines
Candidates can modify specific details within their NIFTEE 2026 application. However, certain fields remain non-editable. Changes affecting the application fee require immediate payment for the correction to be valid. Candidates receive only one opportunity to make edits; the form freezes after submission.
Non-Editable Fields
The following information cannot be changed:
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Permanent address
- Present address
- Uploaded signature image
Editable Fields
Candidates may update details from the following categories:
- Identity Details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, or mother’s name (only one of these options).
- Academic Details: Class 10 details, Class 12 details, graduation details (where applicable), post-graduation details (where applicable).
- Examination Preferences: Examination city selection.
- Personal Details: Date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, or PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) status.
- Programme Selection: Chosen programme(s) in the NIFTEE 2026 application form.
Important Fee Information
Changes to certain fields, such as category, PwBD status, or programme selection, may affect the application fee. If an additional fee is required, candidates must pay it to finalize the corrections. Payment options include Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. NTA will not refund any excess payment made.
