Selection Process Overview

Admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs at NIFT is a multi-stage process. Candidates must first clear the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT). Following these written examinations, specific additional assessments apply based on the program level.

For undergraduate programs, successful candidates from the GAT and CAT stages proceed to a situation test. Postgraduate program candidates, after clearing GAT and CAT, undergo a personal interview. Final selection depends on performance across all assessment stages.
