Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The security deposit varies based on the candidate’s category and the type of institution (e.g., deemed university). This deposit is forfeited if a candidate does not join the allotted seat after Round 2, or if they resign from a Round 3 seat. Candidates must review the information bulletin for exact fee structures.

Important Considerations for Round 3

Candidates must carefully review the seat matrix before filling choices. The seat matrix lists available seats for each college and specialization. Withdrawal options from allotted seats in earlier rounds have specific rules. Candidates must understand these regulations to avoid penalties or forfeiture of their security deposit. After Round 3, a Mop-Up round typically follows for any remaining vacant seats.
