M.Tech Admission Process and Program Details
IIT Delhi conducts M.Tech and Ph.D. admissions twice annually. The M.Tech admission notification for 2026 is typically published in March , following the GATE 2026 examination. Seat allotments are finalized by the end of May and again in October . Admissions usually conclude in December .
Candidates shortlisted based on their GATE score and academic performance proceed to an interview and/or written examination. These assessments are conducted by departmental research committees.
