Class 12 Girl Allegedly Kidnapped, Gang-Raped in Bikaner

Police in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district are investigating the alleged kidnapping and gang rape of a Class 12 student. The incident reportedly occurred inside a moving car in the Napasar area on January 6 . A formal complaint was registered five days later, on January 11 , by the girl’s family.

Incident Details Emerge from Complaint

According to the police, the complaint details the events of the day. The Class 12 student left her home for school on the morning of January 6 . Two young individuals allegedly intercepted her path. They then abducted her and forced her into a waiting car.

The accused reportedly drove the vehicle for several hours. During this time, they allegedly threatened the girl. The complaint states she was gang-raped repeatedly inside the moving car. This prolonged ordeal continued as the vehicle traversed different locations.

The situation changed when the car entered a neighbouring village. Locals in the area grew suspicious of the vehicle. They intervened and successfully stopped the moving car. Following this intervention, the accused individuals allegedly forced the girl out of the car. They then immediately fled the scene on foot, escaping the villagers.

Villagers promptly contacted the girl’s family after the accused fled. Her family arrived at the spot to take her home. This initial account forms the basis of the police investigation into the serious allegations.

Police Launch Investigation, No Arrests Made

A case has been officially registered at the Napasar police station. The complaint falls under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Circle Officer Gangashahar, Himanshu Sharma, confirmed these details to PTI. Authorities have categorized the incident as a grave crime, prompting a full-scale investigation.

Officer Sharma clarified that the victim is legally an adult, aged above 18 years. The exact ages of the accused individuals, however, remain unclear at this stage of the inquiry. Police officials have not yet released specific details regarding the identities of the alleged perpetrators.

As of Monday, police have not made any arrests in connection with the case. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities are meticulously collecting evidence and pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible.
