Chhattisgarh Leads Parental Participation in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

Raipur: Chhattisgarh leads the nation in parental participation for ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’, an annual initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state secured first position for parent registrations and ranked fourth nationally in total participants. This program aims to ease examination stress for students across India. Registrations remain open until January 11 .

Chhattisgarh’s Leading Performance

A government official reported 25.16 lakh (2,516,000) participants have registered from Chhattisgarh for the initiative. This figure includes 22.75 lakh students, 1.55 lakh teachers, and 81,533 parents. The state’s strong performance underscores its commitment to the program’s objectives.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attributed the state’s success to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents. He stated that the Prime Minister’s message—to view examinations as a celebration rather than a source of stress—has resonated widely within Chhattisgarh. Sai also emphasized that the state’s top rank in parental involvement and fourth overall position reflect increased awareness among guardians. Parents are actively engaging to build their children’s confidence, moving away from unnecessary academic pressure.

The Chief Minister expressed strong confidence that Chhattisgarh will surpass its target of three million registrations. He asserted the campaign to foster stress-free examinations will evolve into a broad public movement across the state.

Strategic Outreach and Engagement

Chhattisgarh implemented several strategies to maximize registration numbers. District-level review meetings were regularly held to monitor progress and coordinate efforts. On-site registration facilities were established at various teacher-training centers, providing convenient access for educators.

The state also organized ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha Melas’ to boost community engagement. At a mela in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, over 10,000 registrations were recorded in a single day. This significantly increased the district’s daily average, which typically stood at about 1,500. These melas saw large-scale participation from schools, local communities, teachers, and students. Officials confirmed that similar melas are being organized in other districts throughout the state to further drive registrations.

Teachers attending training sessions received detailed briefings on the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ registration process. Direct assistance for on-the-spot registration was provided at these venues, leading to a high volume of teacher enrollments and ensuring their active participation in the initiative.

Registration for ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026’ officially began on December 1 . The final deadline for all interested participants to complete their registration is January 11 .
