National Postdoctoral Fellowship (N-PDF)
Applications for the ANRF-National Post Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) open from January 15 to February 17 . This fellowship supports early-career researchers transitioning from doctoral studies. It aims to develop independent research capabilities in young scientists. Eligibility requires completion of a PhD, MD, or MS degree. Recipients receive a monthly stipend of Rs 1,35,000 for five years. An annual research grant of Rs 7 lakh is provided for essential research expenses. This grant covers consumables, travel, research personnel salaries, and other contingencies. An additional Rs 60,000 per year is allocated for institutional overhead charges, supporting research infrastructure.
