CSIR UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Challenge Closes Jan 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the challenge window for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2025 answer key tomorrow, January 1 . Candidates must submit objections on the official website,csirnet.nta.nic.in, by the deadline.

Each challenge against the provisional answer key requires an objection fee of Rs 200 . A panel of experts will review all submitted objections. Following this review, the NTA will publish the final answer key. CSIR UGC NET December 2025 results will be based on this final key.

The NTA conducted the joint CSIR-UGC NET 2025 exam on December 12 . Over 2 lakh candidates appeared for the test, delivered in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

How to Object to the Answer Key

Candidates can follow these steps to challenge the provisional answer key:

  • Visit the official NTA website:csirnet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ tab.
  • Log in using the application number, password, and security pin.
  • Select “View Question Paper” to check marked responses. Click “Challenge” to view and challenge answer keys.
  • Upload supporting documents as a single PDF file using ‘Choose File’.
  • Click ‘Submit and review Claims’.
  • To modify, click ‘Modify your Claims’. To finalize, click ‘Final Submit’.
  • Save claims and proceed to ‘Pay Now’.
  • The claim is saved after successful payment.

CSIR UGC NET 2025: Score Calculation

The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam consists of two parts: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I carries 100 marks, while Paper II carries 200 marks. Candidates can estimate their scores using the following formula:
