Bihar DElEd CET 2026 Deadline Extended to Jan 9; Exam Jan 19

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination (CET) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications and pay the required fees until January 9, 2026 . The previous application deadline was December 24, 2025.

The extension allows more time for applicants to complete their online registration. Candidates must apply through the official website:form.bsebdeled.com. All other terms and conditions outlined in Advertisement No. P.R. 323/2025 remain unchanged, according to the official notice.

Bihar DElEd CET 2026 Examination Schedule

The Bihar DElEd CET 2026 is scheduled to be held from January 19 to February 18, 2026 . This computer-based test will determine admissions for elementary teacher training programs across Bihar.

Admit cards for the examination will be issued on January 10, 2026 . Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website. A dummy admit card will be released prior to the final admit card for candidates to verify their submitted details. The specific dates for corrections to the dummy admit card will be announced separately by the BSEB.

After the examination concludes, the provisional answer key will be published. Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key from February 26 to March 1, 2026 . The final result of the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2026 is expected to be declared in March 2026 .

Application Fee Structure

Applicants must pay a non-refundable examination fee during registration. The fee structure varies by candidate category:

Required Documents for Online Registration

Candidates must prepare and upload the following scanned documents in the prescribed format during the online application process:

  • Scanned Colour Photograph: Size between 20 kb and 100 kb. Dimensions must be 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm.
  • Scanned Signature: Size between 10 kb and 50 kb.
  • Matriculation (Class 10) Certificate and Marksheet: Used for date of birth verification.
  • Intermediate (Class 12) Certificate and Marksheet: Proof of qualifying examination.
  • Caste Certificate: Required for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Must be issued by a competent authority.
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate: For Extremely Backward Class (EBC) and Backward Class (BC) candidates. Must be updated and issued by a competent authority. Married women claiming reservation must ensure this certificate is issued in their father’s name and address.
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate: For candidates claiming EWS status. Must be issued by a competent authority.
  • Disability Certificate: For Divyang candidates. Must be issued by a competent authority.
  • Residential Certificate: Mandatory for candidates who are residents of Bihar state.
  • Dependent Certificate: For candidates claiming dependent status (son or unmarried daughter) of serving, retired, deceased, or ex-servicemen personnel residing in Bihar. This certificate must be issued by a competent authority.
