NTR Educational Institutions: History and Mission
The NTR Educational Institutions campus in Gandipet holds historical significance. Naidu recalled its past role as party headquarters. It also served as a leadership training center. The institution now operates as an educational hub across Telangana.
The institutions were established with a specific mission. They support children from families affected by faction violence. They also assist those impacted by road accidents across the state. This support has spanned decades.
Growth and Community Outreach Initiatives
Naidu credited his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, for her visionary leadership. This leadership, he stated, fueled the institution’s growth. Initial student enrollment stood at 131 . Enrollment has since grown to over 1,600 students.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the impact of the NTR Memorial Trust . The Trust conducts various community service programs. Its blood donation drives have benefited 10 lakh (1 million) people. Additionally, Sanjeevani clinics operated by the Trust have delivered healthcare to 22 lakh (2.2 million) beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh.
