UPSC CMS 2025 Results Declared: 812 Candidates Qualify

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today declared the final results for the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2025. A total of 812 candidates have qualified for various officer posts. Candidates who appeared for the written examination in July and personality tests in December can now download their results.

The official result PDF is available on the UPSC’s website, upsc.gov.in . This announcement marks the completion of the recruitment process for medical professionals in central government services.

Qualified Candidates Breakdown

UPSC has recommended 812 candidates for appointment. These appointments are categorized into two main groups based on the advertised vacancies.

For Category 1 posts, 363 candidates have been selected. These positions comprise Medical Officers Grade within the General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) Sub-cadre of the Central Health Service.

Category 2 vacancies saw 449 candidates qualify. This category includes Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Indian Railways, General Duty Medical Officer in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), and General Duty Medical Officer Grade 2 in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

Understanding the Appointment Process

The UPSC stated that final appointments depend on the number of available vacancies. Candidates must fulfill all prescribed eligibility conditions. All pre-appointment formalities and verifications must also be completed satisfactorily.

The Commission assigns candidates to specific posts. This assignment is based on their ranks obtained in the examination and their expressed preferences for services.

Important Information for Qualified Candidates

Qualified candidates for CMSE 2025 can download their detailed results from the official UPSC portal. Individual marksheets for the CMSE 2025 examination will be published on the Commission’s website within fifteen days from the result announcement date.

Provisional candidates must submit all required original documents within the specified period. Failure to submit these documents will result in immediate candidature cancellation. The Commission will not entertain further correspondence regarding such cancellations.
