NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Allotment Out: Report by Dec 25

Upcoming Counselling Schedule

Separately, MCC announced further counselling dates for NEET PG 2025. Registrations for this phase will run from January 15 to January 18, 2025 . Allotment results will be declared on January 21, 2025 . Candidates must report to their allotted colleges by January 31, 2025 .

NEET PG Seat Matrix Update

MCC recently updated the NEET PG 2025 seat matrix, increasing the total available postgraduate medical seats to 32,215 . The committee added 540 seats after candidate resignations and 135 new PG medical seats.

Seat Adjustments and Transfers

The updated seat matrix reflects several adjustments:

  • 540 seats added following candidate resignations.
  • 117 duplicate seats removed from the list.
  • 18 seats adjusted due to changes in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) quota.
  • 218 applicants provisionally converted from the Indian category to the NRI quota.

State-wise Seat Additions

Several states received new postgraduate medical seats in this update. West Bengal recorded the largest increase, with 46 new seats. Madhya Pradesh followed with 20 additional seats across three medical colleges. Maharashtra and Karnataka each gained 10 new seats.
