Gurugram police arrested four college students Tuesday for blocking a school van and threatening a Class 12 student with a toy gun. The incident happened Monday afternoon near Signature Tower.
The students reportedly intercepted the school van as the Class 12 student returned home after an examination. Two Fortuner vehicles blocked the van’s path at the Signature Tower bus stop, according to police.
The Incident
The accused then threatened the van driver and the student. They brandished a toy gun and warned they would kill the student, the student’s father alleged in his complaint. The father filed the complaint Monday.
Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) at the Civil Lines police station based on the complaint. Officers later impounded two vehicles used in the incident. They also seized a stick and the toy gun from the accused.
Accused Identified
Police identified the arrested individuals as Pankaj, 23; Neeraj, 20; Prince, 20; and Himanshu, 22. Pankaj, Neeraj, and Prince reside in Badshahpur. Himanshu lives in Sector 49, Gurugram. All four attend different colleges.

Motive and Investigation
During police questioning, Neeraj confessed to the motive. He stated his brother had an altercation with the Class 12 student approximately six months ago. The accused then planned this attack in retaliation.
A Gurugram police spokesperson confirmed officers are questioning the accused. The investigation continues into the threats and blocking of the school van.
