A total of 20 new PG medical seats have been formally added across Madhya Pradesh’s medical colleges. Government Medical College Shivpuri received a notable addition of six new seats for specialized training. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College gained two additional seats, further expanding its capacity for postgraduate students. Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Medical College Jabalpur saw the largest increase, adding 12 new seats to its programs. These significant additions are based on a recently revised seat matrix, directly increasing the total availability of specialized medical training positions and offering more opportunities within the state.

The official timeline for the second round of counselling includes several important dates for candidates to note. The revised merit list for MP NEET PG will be published online on December 18 . This extension allows admitted candidates ample time to submit the required documentation after securing their admission, thereby streamlining and easing the overall verification process.

Candidates who modify their preferences through the online counselling portal must ensure these changes are formally locked. This crucial step requires confirmation via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number. Failure to properly lock edited choices will result in the system automatically defaulting to the previously confirmed selections for seat allotment.
