NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Results Out: MCC Allotment Today

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the Round 2 seat allotment results for NEET PG 2025 counselling today, December 16 . Candidates can check their results on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

Students allotted seats in Round 2 must report in person to their assigned medical colleges. The admission process must be completed between December 17 and December 25 , as per the revised schedule.

Seat Matrix Updates

MCC updated the seat matrix for Round 2. A total of 540 candidates resigned or withdrew after Round 1. Following this, MCC added 135 new postgraduate medical seats. The total number of available seats increased to 32,215.

Data from medical colleges led to further adjustments. MCC added 540 seats from resignations. 117 duplicate seats were removed. Additionally, 18 seats were adjusted due to AFMS quota changes. 218 applicants provisionally transferred from the Indian category to the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) category for Round 2 counselling.

Required Documents for Verification

Candidates reporting to allotted colleges must carry specific documents. These include their NEET PG admit card and scorecard. They also need MBBS/BDS mark sheets and degree certificates. Internship completion and MCI registration certificates are mandatory. Proof of date of birth and a valid ID are required. Relevant caste or disability certificates are necessary, if applicable.

The verification of joined candidates and data sharing will occur on December 26 .

MCC allocates seats for MD and MS admissions based on several factors. These include candidates’ NEET PG ranks, choices submitted during the choice-filling process, and seat availability. Applicable reservation policies and prescribed eligibility criteria also determine allotments.

Counselling Rounds Overview
