Registrations for the MP NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling will reopen on December 15 . Candidates can apply for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses until December 17 on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. The Department of Public Health and Medical Education (DME MP) announced this revised schedule, citing the addition of new seats.

The application window reopens specifically due to the inclusion of additional seats approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). These new allocations encompass both the All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota categories. The DME MP confirmed that, “Some private medical colleges have also been permitted to start PG courses. These seats will be added in the seat matrix for the second round, expanding opportunities for candidates.”

Registration and Application Timeline

The registration period for MP NEET PG Round 2 is critical. It begins on December 15 and concludes at 11:59 pm on December 17 . Following the initial registration, an edit facility will be activated for all registered candidates. This allows modifications to applications from December 16 to December 17 , also closing at 11:59 pm .

A comprehensive revised merit list will be published on December 18 . This list will detail eligible candidates for the second round and outline all vacant seats. Candidates will have an opportunity to raise objections against the listed vacancies between December 18 and December 19 , with a deadline of 2:00 pm . The final, confirmed list of vacancies will be publicly available on December 19 .

Choice Filling, Allotment, and Reporting

The process for fresh choice filling and choice locking for the second round is scheduled from December 20 to December 22 . Officials have issued a clear directive: candidates who modify their preferences must secure these revised choices using a One-Time Password (OTP). Failure to lock choices will result in the system defaulting to previously saved selections for the allotment process.

The MP NEET PG Round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on December 24 . Following the allotment, successful candidates must report in person to their assigned college. This reporting phase, crucial for document verification and completing admission formalities, is scheduled from December 25 to December 29 , concluding at 6:00 pm .

Instructions for Previous Rounds and Upgradations

Candidates who received seat allotments in MP NEET PG Round 1 counselling are permitted to complete their admission process, resign from their allotted seat, or opt for an upgradation by December 15 . For candidates admitted in the second round who seek a further upgradation to the mop-up round, they can express this willingness from December 25 to December 29 , until midnight. The option for online resignation or cancellation of admission at the college level is also available during this same timeframe.

MP State Medical Council Registration Mandate

Recognizing potential difficulties, the Department of Medical Education has addressed the requirement for MP State Medical Council registration. Candidates facing challenges in producing either their registration or the receipt of an application submitted to the MPMC at the time of admission will receive a 15-day grace period . It is mandatory for these candidates to submit the necessary registration details within this extended period. Non-compliance will lead to the cancellation of their admission.
