CLAT 2026 Answer Key Released | Objections Due Dec 12

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) released the provisional answer key for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 on December 10 at 5 PM. Candidates have until December 12 , 5 PM, to raise objections.

The designated portal for submitting objections opened simultaneously with the answer key release on December 10 at 5 PM. This portal will close automatically at 5 PM on December 12 . Candidates can access the answer key and submit their objections through the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT 2026 Exam Overview

The CLAT 2026 examination was conducted on December 7 . The test spanned 156 centers across 93 cities, covering 25 States and 4 Union Territories.

A total of 92,344 candidates registered for CLAT 2026. This number included 75,009 applicants for the Undergraduate (UG) program and 17,335 for the Postgraduate (PG) program. The male-female applicant ratio was approximately 0.72:1.

The exam also saw participation from 548 candidates registered under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category. The Consortium appointed a dedicated Nodal Officer to ensure suitable accommodations for all PwD candidates during the examination.

Candidates must follow these specific steps to download the provisional answer key and submit any objections:

  • Log in using your unique registration number and password.
  • Download the provisional answer key and carefully review your marked responses.
  • Click the “Submit Objections” link, select the specific questions you wish to challenge, and provide a clear, factual justification for each objection.

  • Proceed to pay the required objection fee, if applicable, to complete the submission process.
