The 9th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) will occur in January 2026. Applications are open for students, teachers, and parents until January 11 on the MyGov portal.
Students from Class 6 onwards, along with their teachers and parents, are eligible to apply. The application portal address is innovateindia1.mygov.in. Participants who complete the activity will receive a certificate from MyGov.
About Pariksha Pe Charcha
PPC is an annual interactive session. Prime Minister Modi hosts these sessions to engage with students, parents, and teachers nationwide. Discussions cover exam stress, mental health, and anxiety. These topics are addressed ahead of the annual board examinations.
PPC Participation Data
Participation in Pariksha Pe Charcha has shown growth since its first edition. The program began in 2018 with 22,000 participants. The 8th edition in 2025 recorded 3.56 crore registrations.
Total participation for PPC 2025 reached nearly 5 crore people. This figure includes 1.55 crore participants in nationwide Jan Andolan activities. The 8th edition of PPC took place on February 10, 2025 .
PPC 2025 achieved a Guinness World Record. Students from over 245 countries participated. Teachers from 154 nations and parents from 149 countries also took part.

The 8th edition hosted 36 students from each Indian state and union territory. These students represented various types of educational institutions. They included:
