Extended Reporting Deadline Explained

The reporting deadline was extended following a revised counselling schedule. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) published this updated schedule on November 25, 2025 . This revision directly impacted the timeline for Tamil Nadu NEET PG candidates.

Candidates now have until 3 PM on December 7, 2025 , to download their provisional allotment order. The final deadline for physically joining the allotted institution is 5 PM on December 7, 2025 .

To access the provisional allotment order, candidates must first pay the required tuition fee. This payment can be completed online using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or UPI. Without this payment, the allotment order cannot be downloaded.

Candidate Eligibility and Merit List

The Tamil Nadu NEET PG merit list identified 10,901 qualified candidates. This comprehensive list detailed eligibility across different seat categories.

  • Government Seats: 6,989 candidates were eligible.
  • Management Seats: 3,912 candidates were eligible.
  • In-service Category: 570 candidates were eligible.

Following initial document scrutiny, 921 candidates were deemed ineligible for admission. These candidates did not proceed to the seat allotment stage due to verification issues.

Mandatory Reporting Requirements

All selected candidates must report in person to their allotted college. They must bring both original certificates and scanned copies for verification. This physical verification is a critical step in confirming admission.

The selection committee issued a strict warning regarding the reporting process. It stated: "If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and / or admission will be cancelled without any further notice."

Candidates must meet the December 7 deadline to secure their MD or MS seats. Failure to comply will result in automatic cancellation of their provisional admission.
