UK NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Allotment Out: 1122 Seats Allotted

DEHRADUN – The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has released the Uttarakhand National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling round 1 seat allotment results. A total of 1,122 candidates have received provisional seat allotments for MD, MS, postgraduate diploma, and DNB courses across government and private medical colleges in Uttarakhand.

Result Access and Verification

Candidates can access their round 1 seat allotment results on the official university website, hnbumu.ac.in. This allotment is provisional, based on information provided during online data submission.

Colleges will conduct final verification of original documents during the admission process. Any discrepancy between provided data and original documents will lead to the cancellation of the provisional seat allotment.

Allotment Criteria

Seat allotment occurred based on the UK NEET PG 2025 merit list. Candidates’ choices, submitted during the round 1 counselling phase, also influenced the allocation. The selection of college, course, and quota adheres to the Uttarakhand State NEET PG MDMS 2025 merit list.

The security money deposited by candidates, as per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines during the online application process, also factored into the provisional allotment.

Reporting Discrepancies

Candidates must report any discrepancies found in the seat allotment results promptly. The university requires notification via the official email ID, ukneetcounselling@gmail.com , by 1 PM today .

Failure to report discrepancies within this timeframe may result in candidates accepting the provisional allotment as published.

Mandatory Document Submission

Allotted candidates must present original essential documents at the time of admission to their respective colleges. These documents support eligibility and any claimed reservations. Failure to produce required original documents will result in the immediate cancellation of the seat allotment.

For in-service PMHS candidates, an original No Objection Certificate (NOC) or weightage certificate, issued by a competent authority, must be produced at the allotted college during admission.

Broader Implications for Medical Education

Starting from the 2026-27 academic year, NEET will become mandatory for admission to several allied and healthcare undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This change, announced by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), broadens NEET’s scope beyond traditional medical degrees like MBBS, MD, and MS.
