About This Scholarship
The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is inviting applications for the UTS Science International Scholarship specifically designed for Australian Year 12 Students. This prestigious scholarship aims to attract outstanding international students who have completed their Australian Year 12 studies and wish to pursue an undergraduate program at the UTS Faculty of Science.
The scholarship provides significant financial support to help talented students achieve their academic goals. It is offered throughout the year, ensuring flexibility for eligible applicants.
Selections for this scholarship are rigorously made based on the academic merit demonstrated in the applicant's Australian Year 12 qualification, recognizing and rewarding high-achieving individuals.
Successful scholars will receive AUD 5,000 as a contribution towards their tuition fees for the initial session of their chosen undergraduate program at the UTS Faculty of Science.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered eligible for the UTS Science International Scholarship, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be an international student. This means the applicant must not be a New Zealand citizen, an Australian citizen, or a permanent Australian resident.
• Successfully meet all admission criteria for their chosen course of study at UTS.
• Be commencing on-campus full-time studies at the University of Technology Sydney.
• Be starting an undergraduate program specifically within the UTS Faculty of Science.
• Have completed their Australian Year 12 studies. These studies must have been completed no more than one year prior to taking admission at UTS.
Important Note: Students who are enrolling in a UTS transnational program are explicitly not eligible to apply for this particular scholarship. Ensure you meet all these conditions before proceeding.

How to Apply
Applying for the UTS Science International Scholarship is a streamlined and automatic process for eligible candidates.
There is no separate application form or procedure to complete for this scholarship. All commencing international students who apply for an undergraduate program at the UTS Faculty of Science will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
Simply submit your application for your desired undergraduate program at the UTS Faculty of Science as usual. Your eligibility will be assessed based on the information provided in your university application and your academic merit from your Australian Year 12 qualification.
