NLU Delhi: Online Diploma in Clean Sports Law, Apply by Dec 21

New Delhi – The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has launched a new online diploma program. This one-year course focuses on the legal aspects of clean sports. Applications for the program must be submitted by December 21 . The batch will commence on January 4 .

The diploma is titled ‘Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports: Understanding Anti-Doping Regulations.’ It offers an in-depth exploration of the legal framework. This framework governs anti-doping regulations specifically within sports, according to the official brochure.

Participants in the program will gain insights into various policies. They will also examine ethical considerations relevant to sports. The course addresses practical challenges involved in promoting integrity and fair play. This focus applies across the entire sporting ecosystem.

Program Design and Collaboration

The UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports at NLU Delhi designed this online diploma program. The development involved a collaboration with the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), India. This partnership ensures comprehensive coverage of anti-doping regulations and their practical application.

The UNESCO Chair provides academic expertise in the legal dimensions of maintaining clean sports. NADA India contributes its experience as the primary national body. It oversees doping control programs and promotes drug-free sports in the country.

Eligibility Criteria

The program accepts both Indian and foreign graduates. Applicants must hold a degree in any discipline. Eligible professionals include lawyers, Chartered Accountants (CAs), and Company Secretaries.

Engineers, Doctors, and Pharma officials can also apply. Architects, bureaucrats, and management graduates meet the eligibility requirements. Individuals directly involved in sports, such as sports persons and sports administrators, are welcome to enroll.

Students in their fourth and fifth years of a five-year integrated LLB program are also eligible. This broad criterion aims to foster a diverse learning environment.

Course Details and Fees

The online diploma program has a duration of one year. It is scheduled to run from January to December 2026 . The first batch of students will begin classes on January 4 .
