The University of Adelaide invites applications for the Global Citizens Scholarship 2020, designed for international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. This prestigious scholarship aims to support students in pursuing higher education by offering a significant reduction in tuition fees.
Selected students will receive a tuition fee reduction ranging from 15% to 30% for the standard duration of their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The specific percentage of the reduction depends on the academic achievements of the applicant, tailored for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Benefits for students commencing an undergraduate degree:
• 15% tuition fee reduction for Year 12 overseas students with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 80.
• 30% tuition fee reduction for Year 12 overseas students with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90.
Benefits for students commencing a postgraduate degree:
• 15% tuition fee reduction for students with a GPA of a minimum 5.0/7 or equivalent.
• 30% tuition fee reduction for students with a GPA of a minimum 6.0/7 or equivalent.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship 2020, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
• The applicant must commence an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in 2020 at the University of Adelaide.
• They must have received an admission offer for direct-entry to an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Adelaide. This must be as a full-fee paying international student, including those students who are required to pursue a Pre-Enrolment English Program.
• Applicants must have obtained a minimum GPA score as specified for their respective degree level and desired tuition fee reduction percentage (as detailed in the scholarship benefits section).
• The applicant must be a citizen of any country except New Zealand and Australia.
