JEE Main 2026 Application Closes Today; Correction Dec 1-2

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 application window today, November 27, at 9 PM IST . Correction Window Details

The NTA will activate a one-time correction facility for registered JEE Main 2026 candidates. This window opens on December 1, 2025 , and closes on December 2, 2025 . Candidates have a single chance to amend their application forms during this period. Review of all submitted data is crucial before finalizing changes.

• Class 10 and Class 12 Academic Details
• State Code of Eligibility

Fields such as mobile number, email address, permanent address, present address, emergency contact details, and photographs cannot be changed during the correction period. These specific details remain unalterable after initial submission.

JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for JEE Main 2026, candidates must have passed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025. Students appearing for their Class 12 examinations in 2026 are also eligible to apply. There is no specified upper age limit for candidates appearing in JEE Main 2026, aligning with previous years’ policies.

Examination Schedule 2026

The JEE Main 2026 examination will be conducted by the NTA in two separate sessions. Session 1 is scheduled from January 21 to January 30, 2026 . Session 2 will take place from April 2 to April 9, 2026 . Both examination sessions will be held in two shifts each day, allowing for multiple test slots for candidates.

Admission Process
