Bhubaneswar, Odisha – The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Odisha has announced the Odisha National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 Round 1 allotment results. The top two candidates secured General Medicine postgraduate seats at SCB Medical College and Hospital (MCH) in Cuttack. Candidates can access their allotment status on the official website, dmetodisha.in .
Successful candidates can download their seat allotment letters starting November 28 . Reporting to the allotted colleges for admission will occur from November 29 to November 30 . Failure to report within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
Seat Overview and Remaining Vacancies
SCB Medical College and Hospital initially offered a total of 372 MD and MS seats for admissions. Following the first round of counselling, 41 PG and DNB seats remain vacant. These remaining seats will be available for counselling in Round 2.
The Centre recently approved an additional 62 PG seats across six state-run medical colleges and hospitals for the 2025-26 academic year. This expansion aims to increase postgraduate medical training opportunities in Odisha.
