This demand follows an ongoing investigation into a Delhi blast. The probe has linked an alleged terror module to doctors from Al Falah University. Police reported that approximately 18 parents visited the university campus on Saturday . They submitted a formal letter to the Vice Chancellor, expressing profound concerns.
The parents’ delegation requested urgent intervention from the university administration. They sought precise information about the academic and professional prospects for their children. The allegations of university-linked doctors being part of a terror module directly prompted these concerns. A professor at Al Falah University provided a verbal assurance. The professor stated the university would not shut down, aiming to alleviate parental anxiety.
Parental Concerns and University Response
A group of 18 parents converged on the Al Falah University campus. They formally presented a letter outlining their deep worries about the institution’s stability. Khushpal Singh, a parent of a current MBBS student, voiced the core apprehension. “We had significant doubts regarding the future of our children,” Singh explained. He affirmed that their children are pursuing MBBS degrees. He also stressed their complete non-involvement with any form of terror module. The university management formally received their representation. Management subsequently offered verbal reassurances. They stated that the children’s futures remain secure and the college will continue its operations. Parents confirmed all students present on campus are safe. They are reportedly happy and dedicated to their studies.
The formal letter, addressed to the Al Falah Medical College management, highlighted “deep concern regarding recent developments.” It detailed serious threats facing the institution. These include “serious regulatory and security issues.” Specifically, the letter cited “possible withdrawal of recognition by the National Medical Commission (NMC).” It also mentioned a “suspension by the Association of Indian Universities.” Furthermore, an “ongoing investigation” was explicitly stated as jeopardizing the college’s “operational viability.”
