Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SERB Ramanujan Fellowship, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a scientist or engineer currently working abroad.
• Be under the age of 40 years at the time of nomination.
• Hold a higher degree or its equivalent, such as:
• A Ph.D. degree in Science/Engineering.
• A Master's degree in Engineering or Technology.
• An MD degree in Medicine.
• Possess adequate professional experience relevant to their field of research.
• Demonstrate a proven and outstanding track record in research, evidenced by their publications and professional recognition.
• Not hold any permanent, tenure-track, or contractual position in any Indian institute or university at the time of application.
Required Documents
The following documents are required to be submitted in PDF format, adhering to the prescribed specifications:
• Nomination Letter: This letter must be on official letterhead, duly signed and stamped by the nominating authority.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the Nominee: A comprehensive CV detailing academic qualifications, research experience, publications, and any awards or recognition received.
• Plagiarism Undertaking: A signed undertaking confirming that the submitted research proposal and other relevant documents are free from plagiarism.
