Government Launches Free AI Course for 10 Million Citizens

The Indian government has launched a free national online course, ‘YUVA AI for ALL’ . The program aims to provide foundational Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills to 10 million citizens. It targets students, professionals, and other learners nationwide.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) introduced the course. It falls under the umbrella of the “India AI Mission” . This self-paced program lasts 4.5 hours and offers basic AI understanding.

Course Access and Certification

Citizens can access the course on multiple leading learning platforms. These include FutureSkills Prime, iGOT Karmayogi, and other popular ed-tech portals. The course is free and open to everyone.

Learners who complete the course receive an official certificate. The certificate is issued directly by the Government of India. This validates their understanding of basic AI concepts.
