About This Scholarship
The Sanskriti • Geddes Scholarship is an invitation to students of planning and architecture, as well as young professionals, to delve into the methodology and principles of Geddes town planning. This scholarship aims to foster interest and understanding of Patrick Geddes' foundational principles in urban development.
The scholarship's core objective is to promote and advance understanding of Geddes' unique approach to town planning. It offers a valuable opportunity to raise awareness among emerging planners and architects regarding Geddes' holistic principles of place, work, and folk.
Selected applicants will be awarded a scholarship worth INR 45000 for a 6-month program. This amount will be disbursed in two distinct phases: the initial instalment at the scholarship's commencement, and the second upon successful submission of the complete project report. Participants may also be invited to present their research findings at a seminar held in Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria
The Sanskriti • Geddes Scholarship is open to individuals or groups who meet the following specific eligibility criteria:
• Applicants must be Indian nationals.
• Candidates should fall within the age group of 20 to 30 years.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student of planning and architecture at the graduate, postgraduate, or research level within a recognized university.
• Alternatively, the scholarship is also open to young practicing professionals in the field of architecture.
