The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has reopened applications for the NEET UG AYUSH stray vacancy round 2 counselling. Students must apply online atcee.kerala.gov.inby November 20, 12:30 pm . This application window offers a final chance for eligible candidates to secure admission.
This round aims to fill remaining seats for various undergraduate AYUSH courses. These include Ayurveda (BAMS), Homoeopathy (BHMS), Siddha (BSMS), and Unani (BUMS). The process addresses vacancies left after the first stray vacancy round and any additional seats that have become available.
Stray vacancy rounds are typically the last phase of counselling. They ensure all available seats in professional medical and allied health courses are filled. Missing this deadline means losing an opportunity for admission in the current academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for AYUSH courses must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology are compulsory subjects for this qualification.
Only candidates listed in the revised NEET AYUSH rank list are eligible for this round. CEE Kerala published this revised list on November 11 . It declares 44,428 candidates eligible for admission to Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Unani courses based on their NEET 2025 ranks.
CEE Kerala expects to release another revised rank list specifically for the second round of stray vacancy counselling. This list will be published shortly after the application deadline closes. Students should monitor the official website for this update.
Application Guidelines
Students who previously applied under KEAM 2025 do not need to submit a fresh application. Their existing details will be considered. Submitting multiple applications can lead to disqualification from the counselling process.
Fresh applicants seeking fee concessions or reservation benefits must upload all required supporting documents. These documents verify their claims for preferential consideration.
CEE Kerala will consider new applicants only against reservation categories that remain vacant after stray round 1. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not provide additional opportunities to submit supporting documents after the initial application.
Allocation for these candidates will depend on their specific category and the availability of seats following the completion of the stray vacancy round 1. This ensures fairness and adheres to reservation policies.
Required Documents for New Applicants
Fresh applicants must upload specific documents to substantiate their claims for reservation benefits during the application process:
- Class 10 certificate (for age verification and basic qualification)
- Date of birth certificate (to confirm age eligibility)
- Nativity proof (to establish Kerala state domicile)
- Community certificate (for caste-based reservations)
- Non-creamy layer certificate (for state education purposes, relevant for OBC reservations)
- EWS certificate (for Economically Weaker Section reservation, if applicable)
- Income certificate (to verify economic status for fee concessions or EWS claims)
The updated seat matrix, detailing the available vacancies for round 2, will be published separately by CEE Kerala. The CEE stated, “The net vacant seats after stray round 1 will be published later.” Applicants should consult this matrix to understand course and institution availability.
