BBOSE Class 10, 12 Exam Dates 2025 Announced

The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) has officially released the detailed examination schedules for Class 10 (Matriculation) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board exams. These schedules cover both the June and December 2025 examination sessions. Class 10 theory exams will commence on December 15, 2025 , and conclude on December 23, 2025 . Class 12 theory examinations will be held from December 9, 2025 , through December 24, 2025 .

Alongside the theory dates, BBOSE also published the practical exam schedules for both classes. Practical exams for Class 10 are set for December 6 to December 9, 2025 , while Class 12 practicals will run from December 5 to December 8, 2025 . Students must also note the deadline of November 18, 2024 , for submitting corrections to their recently released dummy admit cards.

Examination Schedule Overview

Theoretical examinations for both Class 10 and 12 will be conducted in two shifts daily. The first shift is scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM . The second shift will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM .

For Class 10, the exams will begin with Science and Drawing papers. The matriculation theory examinations will conclude with subjects including Bhojpuri, Bangla, Arabic, and Persian. Class 12 examinations will start with Maithili, Magahi, and Bangla. The intermediate theory examinations will conclude with Urdu, Accountancy, and Bhojpuri.

Practical Exam Details

Practical examinations for both matriculation and intermediate students will follow a separate schedule, also conducted in two daily shifts. Class 10 practicals are scheduled from December 6 to December 9, 2025 . Class 12 practicals are set for December 5 to December 8, 2025 .

The first practical shift will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM . The second practical shift is from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM .

Dummy Admit Cards & Corrections

BBOSE has released the dummy admit cards for Class 10 and 12 examinations for both June and December 2025 sessions. Students must carefully review all personal and academic details printed on these dummy admit cards. Any discrepancies or required corrections must be submitted by the deadline of November 18, 2024 . Timely corrections ensure accurate final admit cards.

Special Provisions for Candidates

All candidates will receive an initial 15-minute reading period for their question papers before writing begins. This time allows students to understand the questions thoroughly. Additionally, students with specific needs who are unable to write on their own may be allowed a scribe. This provision is subject to the rules set by the District Education Officer. Such candidates will also receive 20 minutes of compensatory time for every hour of the examination.
