About This Scholarship
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of India, is offering an internship scheme for 2024. This opportunity is designed for students currently enrolled in postgraduate degree programs in Disaster Management or equivalent fields. The scheme encourages a diverse applicant pool, specifically welcoming female candidates, students from weaker socioeconomic backgrounds, and individuals from the North-Eastern states of India.
The internship is structured to induct at least ten interns per year, with opportunities available throughout the year based on the specific requirements of NDMA divisions. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Sciences
• Management
• Engineering
• Health Studies
• Have recently graduated from a university in a concerned subject.
Note: If the student pursues a different academic discipline, there should be a clear linkage of that particular degree with disaster management principles and practices.
