About This Scholarship
The Council of Ministers, Government of NCT of Delhi, has launched the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna, Delhi 2020. This significant initiative invites applications from eligible students residing in Delhi, particularly those enrolled in empanelled coaching institutes, whose family's annual income is less than INR 8,00,000.
The primary objective of this scholarship is to provide financial support to deserving and needy students, empowering them to pursue their educational aspirations and achieve their career goals. It specifically targets those preparing for various competitive examinations, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their potential.
The scheme offers substantial financial assistance for coaching classes across different examination categories:
• INR 1,00,000 for civil services conducted by UPSC (for coaching of all syllabus except optional subject).
• INR 40,000 for civil services conducted by UPSC (for coaching of the optional subject).
• INR 1,00,000 for Judicial Services Examinations.
• INR 1,00,000 for entrance exams for professional courses in the Science stream, including Engineering, Medical, NDA, and CDS.
• INR 50,000 for entrance exams for other professional courses such as MBA, CLAT, etc.
• INR 50,000 for Group A and B exams other than civil services.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be selected based on their academic merit and the economic condition of their family.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna, Delhi 2020, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• The applicant must have successfully passed Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from an institution located in Delhi. This ensures that the scheme benefits residents of the NCT of Delhi.
• Applicants must belong to either the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), or the General category. The scholarship is inclusive, aiming to support a broad spectrum of students from various social backgrounds.
• The applicant's family must have an annual income not exceeding INR 8,00,000 from all sources. This criterion ensures that the scholarship reaches financially deserving students who genuinely require assistance to pursue their higher education and competitive exam preparations.
Required Documents
Applicants for the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna, Delhi 2020, are required to submit specific documents to verify their eligibility:
• Caste Certificate: This is mandatory for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, or OBC categories. The certificate serves as proof of their social background as per government regulations.

There is no distinct or separate application process that students need to undertake to receive the benefits of the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna.
The scholarship is awarded automatically to students who are already enrolled and studying in any of the 46 empanelled coaching institutes recognized under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna. These institutes are officially listed and authorized to participate in the scheme. Therefore, students who meet the eligibility criteria and are part of these specific coaching centers will be the beneficiaries of this scholarship.
