The MY Bharat mobile app launched in October 2025 , offering digital tools for youth engagement and nation-building. This platform, formerly Mera Yuva Bharat, connects over 2 crore young people and 1.2 lakh organizations across India.
MY Bharat App Enhances Youth Engagement
Prime Minister Narendra Modi previously described MY Bharat’s role in enabling youth to learn, lead, and serve the nation using technology. The platform launched two years ago. It aims to bridge rural-urban divides through its ‘phygital’ model.
The MY Bharat app provides over 14.5 lakh volunteering opportunities. It includes AI chatbots, CV builders, and multilingual access. Voice support features are also available. Common Service Centres offer physical access to the platform.
MY Bharat collaborates with National Career Service, DigiLocker, and UMANG. These partnerships support employment services, certification, and mobility. This initiative contributes to the Viksit Bharat 2047 goal.
President Murmu Stresses Education for Nation-Building
President Droupadi Murmu attended Kumaun University’s 20th convocation in Nainital. She spoke on education’s role in fostering self-reliance and national development. The President urged students to serve underprivileged communities.
Murmu highlighted India’s economic growth. She noted government efforts to create youth opportunities. She called on higher education institutions to promote research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The President commended Kumaun University’s environmentally responsible initiatives. She encouraged students to address rural challenges. Murmu emphasized the critical role of youth in achieving Viksit Bharat 2047. She visited Naina Devi Temple and Shri Neem Karoli Baba Ashram earlier.
