About This Scholarship
IIAS Fellowship Award 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, specifically for research applicants. This prestigious fellowship aims to support scholars in their academic pursuits.
The selected candidates will receive various benefits to facilitate their research. For fellows already in government or allied services (excluding the private sector), their existing pay will be protected during the fellowship period.
Additionally, these fellows may receive an extra 20 percent of their basic pay. This benefit is available if they have not availed government accommodation and can provide proof that they are maintaining a separate home on rent.
For independent or retired scholars, the fellowship grants a consolidated amount of ₹61,100 per month.
