This directly benefits the public by increasing the availability of expert medical professionals and advanced medical services closer to home, particularly in areas like western Odisha.

Government Commitment to Standards

The Odisha state government has committed to ensuring full compliance with all norms and standards set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) . This commitment ensures that the medical education provided in these institutes meets national quality benchmarks.

The state government also pledged to provide all necessary support to these institutions. This ongoing support aims to facilitate their development and ensure they can effectively utilize the increased capacity for medical training.
