Kerala Plus One, Plus Two Board Exams 2026: Dates, Application Deadline

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has released the schedule for the Class 11 (Plus One) and Class 12 (Plus Two) Higher Secondary examinations for 2026. Students must submit their application forms by November 25, 2025 .

The Plus One board exams will run from March 5 to March 27, 2026 . The Plus Two board exams are scheduled from March 6 to March 28, 2026 .

Key Examination Dates

Practical examinations for Class 12 students begin on January 22, 2026 . Admit cards for Plus Two students will be issued starting January 15, 2026 . Plus One students will receive their admit cards from February 16, 2026 .

Evaluation Components and Eligibility

The Kerala Plus Two examination includes three components: Continuous Evaluation (CE), Practical Evaluation (PE), and Terminal Evaluation (TE). The Plus One examination incorporates Continuous Evaluation (CE) and Terminal Evaluation (TE) only.

All students must undergo Continuous Evaluation in every subject. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for the examinations.

Application Fee Structure

Candidates appearing for the Kerala Class 11 and 12 board exams 2026 must pay a Rs 40 certificate fee. This fee is additional to the regular examination fee.

Students opting for additional mathematics (Commerce) through SCOLE Kerala will remit Rs 500 per theory paper , plus the Rs 40 certificate fee. Regular students appearing for the examination for the first time are exempt from paying examination fees. Private and supplementary candidates must pay the prescribed fees through their respective institutions.
