SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has released the provisional merit list for J-K NEET PG 2025 counselling. A total of 1,328 candidates are now eligible for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across the Union Territory.
The merit list relies on data provided by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). JKBOPEE noted several registration forms were incomplete, primarily missing domicile, internship, and state medical registration certificates. These candidates have received provisional approval to participate in the NEET PG counselling.
However, all candidates with pending documents must submit these during the admission process. Failure to provide required documents will lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
Difficulty Area List Revised
JKBOPEE also updated its list for candidates applying under the ‘difficulty area’ category. The Board approved 27 candidates for this category. These students completed their internship services in regions officially designated as difficult areas by the authorities.
Candidates with invalid service records or less than one year of service in a difficult area were excluded from this specific list. JKBOPEE moved these individuals to the open category.
CDP Category and Document Submission
Candidates who applied under the CDP (Children of Defence Personnel) category but uploaded outdated certificates are also provisionally included in the merit list. These candidates must submit updated documents to the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar. The deadline for submission is October 31 .
The Board clarified that no documents will be accepted via email or WhatsApp. Candidates must submit physical copies at the designated offices.
Candidatures Rejected Due to Low Scores
JKBOPEE rejected the candidatures of some applicants. Their NEET-PG 2025 scores fell below the cutoff score set by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
