West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand closed NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling registrations on October 29 . The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revised its schedule, prompting these states to extend their deadlines.
Separately, Punjab released its NEET UG 2025 Round 3 provisional allotment results on October 28 . Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) announced candidates could submit objections to these provisional results until October 29 .
The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat, also extended its NEET UG counselling dates. Gujarat applicants for MBBS and BDS admissions could register until October 29 . Document verification was open until October 30 , and choice filling concluded on November 1 at 10 am.
NEET UG Seat Matrix Updated
The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently revised the NEET UG seat matrix. The update showed a change of 11,400 seats, differing by 100 seats from previous data. NMC also removed 456 seats from the matrix.
These adjustments corrected typographical errors, according to the committee. Errors affected seat allocations at Swaminarayan Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Gujarat, and Viraat Ramayan Institute of Medical Sciences. The corrected total of available NEET UG medical seats is now 1,28,925 .
