Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) opens online registration for Telangana AYUSH PG courses tomorrow, October 16 . Applications for MD Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy programs are for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidates who qualified for AIAPGET 2025 are eligible to apply.
The registration window begins at 6 AM on October 16 . It closes on October 21 at 6 PM . The application link will be available on the official KNRUHS website,tsmdayush.tsche.in.
Eligibility Requirements
KNRUHS outlined specific eligibility criteria for applicants. Candidates must meet domicile and academic qualifications.
Local Category Domicile Rule
- Applicants must have studied in Telangana for at least four consecutive years up to the qualifying examination. This rule applies to eligibility under the local category, based on new state domicile guidelines.
AIAPGET 2025 Qualification
- Candidates must have appeared for AIAPGET 2025.
- Minimum eligibility percentiles are required:
- General and EWS Category: 50th percentile
- General-PwD Category: 45th percentile
- SC, ST, and OBC Categories: 40th percentile
Academic Qualification
- Applicants must hold a BAMS degree.
- The degree course must be at least 5½ years in duration.
- This duration includes the compulsory internship period.
- These rules apply to all respective AYUSH courses.
Prior PG Degree Holders
- Candidates already holding a postgraduate degree in Ayurveda are ineligible for admission into another PG Ayurveda course. This rule extends to other AYUSH disciplines.
In-Service Candidates
- The cut-off date for completing three years of regular service is September 30, 2025 .
Counselling and University Fees
Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee to participate in the Telangana AYUSH PG counselling 2025. The fee structure varies by category:
- Open and Backward Category: Rs 4,000
- SC and ST Candidates: Rs 3,000
Fee payment must be completed online.
After seat allotment, selected candidates pay a university fee of Rs 15,000 . This payment is mandatory before downloading the Telangana AYUSH PG seat allotment order.
Admission Process
KNRUHS will release a provisional merit list. This list will be followed by a document verification process. Seat allotment will occur thereafter. Admissions are based on merit, reservation criteria, and government regulations.
