GIM Admissions 2026-28 Open: PGDM, BDA, HCM Applications & Deadlines

Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has officially opened admissions for its 2026-28 Postgraduate Management Programs. Prospective students can now apply online for various specializations. The first application deadline, known as the “First Mover” window, is set for October 23, 2025 .

GIM, a prominent business school in India, offers several programs designed to prepare future leaders. These programs span different fields of management, each with a specific number of available seats.

Programs Offered and Seat Intake

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – 300 seats
  • PGDM – Health Care Management (HCM) – 120 seats
  • PGDM – Big Data Analytics (BDA) – 180 seats
  • PGDM – Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS) – 120 seats
  • International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) (PGDM BDA + MSc in Analytics from a partner international university) – 30 seats

All applications must be submitted through the official admissions portal athttps://admissions.gim.ac.in/. GIM maintains a strict admission process; the institute does not accept applications through management quota or donations.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Candidates must meet specific academic and entrance exam requirements to be considered for admission. The criteria are as follows:

  • Applicants need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree.
  • A reduced requirement of 45% aggregate marks applies to candidates from the SC/ST category.
  • Students in their final year of graduation are eligible if they complete all degree requirements by June 2026. These students must also have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their most recent examinations.
  • Applicants must hold a valid score from CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT. The GMAT score must be from an exam taken between January 1, 2024 , and January 15, 2026 .

Specific Program Requirements

Certain programs have additional requirements beyond the general eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates applying for the International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) program must submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP). They are also required to take at least one English proficiency exam. Acceptable exams include TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE), Cambridge English Advanced (CAE), or Cambridge English Business (BEC). Minimum scores are mandated by GIM.
  • Applicants for both the PGDM (BDA) and IDA programs must appear for the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT). This test is scheduled for February 1, 2026 .
