About This Scholarship

The AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 is a significant initiative dedicated to supporting specially-abled students in pursuing technical education. This scheme aims to empower students with disabilities by providing essential financial assistance throughout their academic journey in AICTE-approved institutions.

Selected students will receive a scholarship of ₹50,000 per year for each year of their studies until the completion of their course.

Note: No other additional grants will be provided for hostel charges, medical charges, or similar expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be an Indian national
• belong to a specially-abled category with a benchmark disability of not less than 40%
• Be admitted to the first or second year (through lateral entry) of a degree/diploma program in a current-year AICTE-approved institution
• have a family income of less than ₹8,00,000 per annum

Required Documents

• Copy of Marksheets from Class 10 and 12 (as applicable)
• Aadhaar Card
• Income Certificate issued by the State/UT Government for the preceding financial year
• Admission letter for a degree/diploma program issued by the Directorate of Technical Education
• Receipt of tuition fee payment
• Copy of a bank account passbook seeded with an Aadhaar Card showing the applicant's photograph, account number, and IFSC code
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• A duly signed declaration by parents confirming the accuracy of the information provided in the application form (if applicable)

How to Apply

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following these steps on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP):

Step 1: Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.

Step 4: Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option, as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Step 5: Click on the 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.

Step 6: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.

Step 7: Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.

Step 8: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note: This is a temporary registration number; students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)

Step 9: After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.

Step 10: Select the scholarship, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit.

Note: All applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.

intro_text: The AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls 2025-26 is a significant initiative aimed at empowering female students to pursue technical education. This scholarship provides financial support to encourage more girls to enroll in AICTE-approved degree and diploma programs.

A total of 10,000 scholarships are available each year, with 5,000 awarded for diploma programs and 5,000 for degree programs. Selected students will receive a scholarship of ₹50,000 per year for each year of their studies until the course completion.

Note:
• Additional grants will not be provided for hostel charges, medical charges, etc.
• In addition to the above-mentioned number of scholarships, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will also award scholarships to all eligible females from the following 13 Union Territories and North Eastern States who submit an online application:

intro_text: The AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 is designed to support students who have faced severe hardships. This includes those impacted by COVID-19, wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces personnel martyred in action (Shaheed), wards of a PwD (above 80% in accident), or wards of a parent suffering from a critical life-threatening disease. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to ensure these deserving students can pursue technical education without hindrance.

Selected candidates will receive a lump sum of ₹50,000 per year through the DBT mode to cover college fees, computer purchases, stationery, books, equipment, software, etc. This amount is for the entire year of study, and hostel & medical charges are not included.

Award Duration:
• A maximum of 4 years for Degree students.
• A maximum of 3 years for Diploma students.
• Students in higher years (2nd, 3rd, or 4th) will receive the scholarship for their remaining years of study.

• be enrolled full-time in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a regular degree or diploma program at an AICTE-approved institution
