Aptech, WOL3D Launch 3D Printing Training Curriculum for Students

Aptech Limited and WOL3D have launched a new 3D printing training curriculum. The program provides specialized learning modules for students already engaged in 3D modeling, animation, or design courses. It aims to enhance their existing creative skills with practical 3D printing knowledge.

Curriculum Delivery and Facilities

The jointly developed curriculum will be delivered through Aptech Limited’s Media & Entertainment (M&E) training centers. These include MAAC and Arena Animation facilities. Students will also gain hands-on experience at WOL3D’s advanced experience facilities.

The program integrates theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on training. This ensures learners acquire both conceptual understanding and direct application skills. The curriculum features certified workflows, providing industry-standard practices.

Bridging Creativity and Industry

The program bridges creative learning with industrial application. It exposes students to real-world workflows in various sectors. This prepares them for direct entry into specialized roles.

3D printing is increasingly essential across several industries. The curriculum focuses on its applications in manufacturing, enabling rapid production and custom part creation. Students learn to translate digital designs into physical products.

In product prototyping, the training enables efficient model creation. This skill helps accelerate design and development cycles. For healthcare, students explore 3D printing for custom medical devices and anatomical models. They also study its use in architecture for detailed scale models and specialized building components.

Leadership Statements

Sandip Weling, Whole-time Director at Aptech Limited, commented on the collaboration. He stated the initiative combines a disciplined curriculum, structured learning, and access to state-of-the-art technology. Weling emphasized moving learning from digital screens to practical shop floors.

He added that the program seeks to build a skilled and sustainable talent pipeline. This pipeline will serve both animation studios and manufacturing industries. The collaboration addresses a growing demand for specialized skills.

Rahul Chandalia, Co-Founder and Director of WOL3D, reinforced the rising demand for skilled talent in this field. He affirmed the partnership ensures students receive proper exposure. This includes modern technology, real-world workflows, and future-ready applications.

Future Employment Opportunities

This curriculum equips young individuals with essential tools. It expands their employment opportunities in the evolving digital manufacturing landscape. Graduates will be prepared to lead innovation where creative design meets advanced production technology.
