Bihar Student Credit Card Loan Scheme

Scholarship Amount

Up to ₹4 lakh p.a.

About This Scholarship

The Bihar Student Credit Card Loan Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students residing in Bihar for pursuing higher education. This initiative helps bridge the financial gap, allowing eligible students to access quality education without significant monetary burden.

Under this scheme, eligible candidates can receive an education loan of up to ₹4 lakh at a simple interest rate of 4% per annum.

Significantly, the scheme offers reduced interest rates for specific categories:
• Female applicants
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
• Transgender candidates

These groups are eligible for the loan at a considerably lower interest rate of 1%. The scheme ensures that financial constraints do not hinder deserving students from achieving their educational aspirations.
